Following agreement on the price of the service(s), Handbag Hospital will send you an invoice for the full amount due and work will commence on the handbag.
There are a number of ways to complete payment :
The approximate time for completion of the services provided by Handbag Hospital is 2 - 8 weeks, depending on the type of work necessary.
Handbag Hospital will endeavour to deliver our services within the timescales indicated on the individual order confirmation. Due to the intricacy of the services provided, we are unable to provide guaranteed delivery times.
Before giving any bag(s) to Handbag Hospital or our couriers, please ensure that the bag(s) are empty, as we cannot be held responsible for the safekeeping of any personal items left within the bag(s). At the same time, if we find any personal contents within a bag, we will make every effort to return them to you.
Once the work has been completed, our professional couriers can deliver your bag(s) to your requested location on the date agreed. Providing us with an Eircode Postcode will ensure your delivery gets to the right location. Our courier will have a delivery note which must be signed on receipt of the item(s) by the customer, their authorised representative or nominated agent and this shall be proof that delivery was made to the customer as per the description and quantity indicated on the delivery note.
If there is no-one present at the time of delivery, you will be asked to contact our courier service to re-arrange an alternative delivery date. There may be an additional charge for this.
If our courier is unable to deliver in the case where there is no one available at the agreed address or you have provided an incorrect or incomplete address, we reserve the right to make a reasonable charge for any repeat collection trip.
Please note that all courier-delivered items will incur a nominal charge.
Handbag Hospital exercises the utmost care in processing items received to avoid misplacement or loss. Once an item has been delivered to an authorised person acting as your representative we cannot assume any responsibility for any items that may be lost or damaged whilst in their care.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Handbag Hospital shall not be liable to you under these Terms for any loss of profits, loss of business opportunity, wasted expenditure, goodwill, reputation, revenue, or for any indirect consequential or economic loss or damage whatsoever arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the performance of the Agreement or any breach of the Terms or Agreement by us.
Handbag Hospital’s goal is to provide a repair, cleaning and restoration service for bags, which when forwarded to us are regarded as no longer being in their original pristine condition and thus hold a lower value than when originally purchased.
Handbag Hospital uses industry standards techniques and materials. Where original materials are not available, parts and colours used will be dictated by the specification of that of the original item or a suitable alternative, subject to prior discussion with the client where conveniently possible.
Handbag Hospital cannot guarantee a full removal of stains from fabrics.
Providing Handbag Hospital with accurate up to date information allows us to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered between both parties, to monitor and improve the provision of the services through the website and to send you notices about our service or any changes to it.
Faults will be repaired (if possible), by our professional team. If services provided by Handbag Hospital have been identified as faulty within 14 days of receipt by the customer, Handbag Hospital will undertake repairs free of charge and provide a partial refund of previous fees.
Handbag Hospital will provide insurance for all customer bag(s), in the event, they are lost, stolen or damaged during time at our premises. We will cover the cost of your bag(s) to the extent of their present value. Our insurance will exclude items sent to us in a damaged state or that have no value.
